Cy is a native of Timmonsville, South Carolina, and a graduate of Roy Hudgens Academy. Cy graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1977, and in 1981, graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
Cy and his wife, Gayle, live in Columbia, South Carolina and have three children.
Tripp Rush is an attorney at The Rush Law Firm and he practices family law.
A graduate of AC Flora high school, Tripp attended Presbyterian College and earned an undergraduate degree in history in 2009. He graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2013. Tripp and his wife, Sara Beth, live in Columbia, South Carolina and have two children.
